A female patient, 56 years old, suffering from chronic mouth ulceration for the past 15 years. She was diagnosed with“erosive oral lichen planus” in 1995. The symptoms got worse in past year. She started to have ulceration full of the mouth to the point where it became difficulty to eat or drink. The ulcers often appeared on her cheek or gum area in the mouth, with different sizes. She sleeps poorly and has a high stress job. She was referred to me by her dentist Dr. Gordon McLachlin.
This patient came to BodyMind Synergy Health center, while having two major ulcers in her mouth, on the left side, the size was about 10mmx25mm, and the right side is about 8mmx15mm. These two ulcershas been there for over three months.
She has received 8 acupuncture and Chinese herbal treatments over a period of one month.After each treatment, the ulcer size decreases and by the 8th treatment, the left side ulcer has been completely healed and the right side the ulcer size decreased from 8mmx15mm to a size of 2mmx1mm. It is not bother eating or drinking any more.

This patient’s ulcers continue to heal after the 8th treatment , by the 8th treatment, the left side ulcer has been completely healed and the right side the ulcer size decreased from 8mmx15mm to a size of 2mmx1mm. It is not bother eating or drinking any more.
By the 15th treatment, the ulcer has been completely healed on both sides. No pain, no disturbance of eating or drinking, Her 15 years of mouth ulceration, and latest one has been there for over 12 months all healed. Her condition is clinically cured.
